The months of June, July and August were very busy for us as we hosted teams from Wonder Voyage from San Antonio,Texas, families from North Carolina, Destiny Church from Rochester, Minnesota, King’s Kids from El Paso, Texas, and Becida Community Church from Bemidji, MN. We also graduated our DTS students on July 3 and conducted our SSSO (Summer Spanish School and Outreach) July 8-August 2. In August we hosted Montrose Bible Church from Pennsylvania that participated in our Summer MAD (Missions, Adventure, Discipleship) program. Each group that came conducted ministry in our community and at our base and was a great blessing to the people they served. We are grateful to God for the opportunities we had to work with these groups and impact our community through the different ministries we have. Lives were eternally changed and the love of God was demonstrated in many tangible ways through the help given to families and individuals. If your church or ministry would like to join us next summer for a week of ministry with us please contact us as soon as possible as we schedule teams on a first come, first served basis.

During September several of our staff will be taking time off to visit churches and raise awareness as well as personal support. Our ministries at the base will continue as we reach out to the children, moms and we conduct the Bible distribution in our community. Also in September the YWAM bases will be meeting for a time of training at the new base in San Jose, Costa Rica. These are always great times of learning, fellowship and worship and we look forward to participating in the sessions.
Our next scheduled team will join us at the end of October. They will bring ministry to the children, moms, homeless people and will be constructing 2 homes for families in need.
We have time available for groups to come in October, November and December. These are great months to join us!
The construction of the new addition to the base has been completed! We are excited to be able to use it to host groups as well as offer schools and seminars through the University of the Nations.
